Rapid marks, broken lines and splashes of ink convey energy and observation in real time, as if lifted from a working sketchbook. Printed on richly patinated Awagami handmade Japanese paper from the Fujimori family mill in Tokushima, the images carry an archival, time-worn character grounded in a centuries-old craft tradition. Framed in antique gold with linen matting, the series balances raw expression with classical refinement - honoring tradition while celebrating movement, craftsmanship and the enduring spirit of English design.
